Project Overview
The Yazd Solar Power Plant, one of Iran’s key renewable energy projects, was designed to generate clean and sustainable electricity. The plant required advanced industrial electrical infrastructure, automation, and instrumentation systems to manage solar energy production, storage, and integration with the national grid. Asia Industrial Gateway was entrusted with the supply, installation, and commissioning of electrical and control systems, leveraging its expertise in power and renewable energy projects.
Scope of Work by Asia Industrial Gateway
🔹 Equipment Supply:
- Low and medium voltage electrical panels with advanced protection and smart control features
- Solar inverters and power management systems from trusted brands including Siemens, ABB, Huawei
- Instrumentation including voltage, current, and temperature sensors for monitoring panel performance and storage systems
🔹 Installation & Commissioning:
- MCC panels and process control systems for energy production and storage units
- Deployment of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring of solar power generation
- Industrial cabling, transformer installation, and connection to the national grid
🔹 Process Automation & Energy Management:
- Design of operational scenarios to enhance efficiency and reduce energy losses
- Implementation of Energy Management Systems (EMS) for smart control of production and storage
- Integration of control systems with the plant’s industrial network and central control room
🔹 Maintenance & Technical Support:
- Periodic servicing of electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Training of plant operators for monitoring and control systems
- Delivery of complete technical documentation including schematics, manuals, and test reports
