Project Overview
The Ramin Power Plant, one of Iran’s largest steam power plants, plays a critical role in supplying electricity to southern Iran. With its high-capacity operations, the plant required advanced automation and instrumentation systems to manage energy production processes, monitor sensitive equipment, and ensure operational safety. Asia Industrial Gateway was entrusted with the supply, installation, and commissioning of automation and instrumentation systems, leveraging its expertise in power plant projects.
Scope of Work by Asia Industrial Gateway
🔹 Equipment Supply:
- PLC and DCS systems for steam and power generation process control
- Instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors from trusted brands such as Siemens, ABB, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa
- Smart control panels and energy monitoring equipment
🔹 Installation & Commissioning:
- Deployment of HMI and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring of steam units and auxiliary equipment
- Installation and calibration of instrumentation in boilers, turbines, and auxiliary systems
- Integration of control systems with the plant’s industrial network and central control room
🔹 Process Automation:
- Design of operational scenarios to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption
- Implementation of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) to protect equipment and personnel in emergency conditions
- Optimization of production processes using advanced control algorithms
🔹 Maintenance & Technical Support:
- Periodic servicing of automation and instrumentation equipment
- Training of plant operators for monitoring and control systems
- Delivery of complete technical documentation including schematics, manuals, and test reports
