Project Overview

The Parand Combined Cycle Power Plant, one of Iran’s key power generation facilities, was designed to increase electricity production capacity and optimize fuel consumption. The plant required advanced industrial electrical infrastructure, automation, and instrumentation systems to manage gas and steam turbine units, monitor sensitive equipment, and ensure stable integration with the national grid. Asia Industrial Gateway was entrusted with the supply, installation, and commissioning of electrical and control systems, leveraging its expertise in power and renewable energy projects.

Scope of Work by Asia Industrial Gateway

🔹 Equipment Supply:

  • Low and medium voltage electrical panels with advanced protection and smart control features
  • Instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors from trusted brands such as Siemens, ABB, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa
  • Energy monitoring and centralized control systems

🔹 Installation & Commissioning:

  • MCC panels and process control systems for gas and steam turbine units
  • Deployment of PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring of power generation
  • Industrial cabling, transformer installation, and connection to the plant’s main busbars

🔹 Process Automation & Energy Management:

  • Design of operational scenarios to enhance efficiency and reduce fuel consumption
  • Implementation of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) to protect equipment and personnel in emergency conditions
  • Integration of control systems with the plant’s industrial network and central control room

🔹 Maintenance & Technical Support:

  • Periodic servicing of electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Training of plant operators for monitoring and control systems
  • Delivery of complete technical documentation including schematics, manuals, and test reports
