Project Overview
The Manjil Wind Power Plant, Iran’s first and largest wind farm, plays a vital role in the country’s renewable energy development. The plant required advanced industrial electrical infrastructure, automation, and instrumentation systems to manage wind turbine power generation, storage, and integration with the national grid. Asia Industrial Gateway was entrusted with the supply, installation, and commissioning of electrical and control systems, leveraging its expertise in power and renewable energy projects.
Scope of Work by Asia Industrial Gateway
🔹 Equipment Supply:
- Low and medium voltage electrical panels with advanced protection and smart control features
- Wind turbine control systems from trusted brands including Siemens, ABB, Vestas
- Instrumentation including wind speed, blade angle, current, and voltage sensors
🔹 Installation & Commissioning:
- MCC panels and process control systems for turbine units and auxiliary equipment
- Deployment of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring of wind power generation
- Industrial cabling, transformer installation, and connection to the national grid
🔹 Process Automation & Energy Management:
- Design of operational scenarios to enhance efficiency and reduce energy losses
- Implementation of Energy Management Systems (EMS) for smart control of production and storage
- Integration of control systems with the plant’s industrial network and central control room
🔹 Maintenance & Technical Support:
- Periodic servicing of electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Training of plant operators for monitoring and control systems
- Delivery of complete technical documentation including schematics, manuals, and test reports
