Project Overview
The Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex, one of Iran’s largest petrochemical facilities, required advanced automation and instrumentation systems to manage sensitive production processes and ensure safety across operational units. Asia Industrial Gateway was entrusted with the supply, installation, and commissioning of automation and instrumentation systems, leveraging its expertise in oil, gas, and petrochemical projects.
Scope of Work by Asia Industrial Gateway
🔹 Equipment Supply:
- PLC and DCS systems for process control
- Instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors from trusted brands such as Siemens, ABB, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa
- Smart control panels and energy monitoring equipment
🔹 Installation & Commissioning:
- Deployment of HMI and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring of production units
- Installation and calibration of instrumentation in cracker, polyethylene, and auxiliary units
- Integration of control systems with the plant’s industrial network and central control room
🔹 Process Automation:
- Design of operational scenarios to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption
- Implementation of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) to protect equipment and personnel in emergency conditions
