Project Overview
The Shazand Thermal Power Plant is one of Iran’s largest power generation facilities, playing a vital role in supplying electricity to the central province and the national grid. With its high-capacity operations, the plant required robust, safe, and intelligent electrical systems to manage energy production processes. Asia Industrial Gateway was entrusted with the supply, installation, and commissioning of critical electrical and automation systems.
Scope of Work by Asia Industrial Gateway
🔹 Equipment Supply:
- Low and medium voltage electrical panels with advanced protection and smart control features
- Monitoring and control systems from trusted brands including ABB, Siemens, LS Electric
- Instrumentation for current, voltage, temperature, and pressure monitoring in boiler and turbine units
🔹 Installation & Commissioning:
- MCC panels and process control systems for steam units and auxiliary equipment
- Energy monitoring systems integrated with the plant’s SCADA network
- Industrial cabling, transformer installation, and connection to main busbars
🔹 Automation & Process Control:
- Implementation of PLC and HMI systems for precise equipment control
- Integration with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
- Operational scenario design to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption
🔹 Maintenance & Technical Support:
- Periodic servicing of electrical and control systems
- Training of plant operators for monitoring and automation systems
- Delivery of complete technical documentation including schematics, manuals, and test reports
